Danish Literary Showcase with Translators Aloud
Submission deadline: 15 May 2026 | Feature week: 25–29 May 2026
Lights, camera…translation!
Once again, DELT is teaming up with Translators Aloud – and this time, it’s your voice we want to hear. We’re inviting you to record a short video reading from a Danish work you’ve translated, to be featured on TA’s YouTube channel.
Your video should be no more than five minutes, including any brief introduction (about 400 to 600 words). Whether you want to showcase a finished book or give a new project some well-deserved visibility, the feature week offers a unique platform to share your work, connect with readers and fellow translators – and perhaps put a project on the radar of potential publishers. It’s also simply a fun and rewarding way to experience translation as performance.
If you attended the reading-aloud workshop, this is the perfect opportunity to put those skills into practice. Space is limited to the first 10 submissions, and the videos will be individually promoted by DELT on social media. Drop Misha a note when you submit, so we can promote it too.
For inspiration, check out the readings from our feature weeks in 2021 and 2024.
