We regularly host events and run workshops for our members, the industry (fellow translators working from other languages, publishers, and agents), and anyone with an interest in translation and Danish literature.

ALTA48: Dinner with DELT – Thursday, 6 November

DELT is arranging a dinner for DELT’ers at ALTA 48 in Tucson. Join us on Thursday 6 November to meet new friends and catch up with old ones!

 

2025 AGM – Sunday, 16 November (Members Only)

Attend online or in-person via regional hubs. There will be a lot of changes coming to DELT at this AGM, so we encourage you to take a look at the Expression of Interest form and make sure to hold the date in your calendar.

The AGM is scheduled for: 19:00CST/ 18:00GMT/ 13:00EST/10:00PST

Wild Translation: Activist Practices – Monday, 24 November

This fourth and last instalment of the Wild Translation Workshop series encourages participants to view their translation through the lens of political activism. Guided by Nielsine Nielsine, participants will look at the works of 21st century activist translators and pay special attention to the literary form that is the manifesto.

This will be an in-person workshop in Aarhus on Monday, 24 November from 17:00-18:30. Register here.
